Instructions for online submission of Application

Mizoram University 20th Convocation


It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the 20th  Convocation of Mizoram University will be held on 7th  March, 2026(Saturday) at 11:00AM at Multipurpose Hall, Mizoram University Campus.


I. The Convocation is applicable to:


(i) Students who have passed their Bachelor's Degree Examinations including Professional Course under
Mizoram University after 23.02.2025.
(ii) For Post Graduates- who have passed their Master s Degree after 23.02.2025.
(iii) For Ph.D and M.Phil - who received their respective results Notification after 08.03.2025 till 16.02.2026. Result notified after 17.02.2026 will not be admitted in this Convocation.


II. Candidates who are willing to participate in the Convocation in Person are required to confirm their participation by submitting online Application Form along with a copy of Grade Card/M.Phil and Ph.D Award notification latest by 16.02.2026. However applicants belonging to Ph.D, Post Graduate(PG) UnderGraduate(UG) and Professional Course need not pay fees as the fees were already collected.

III. The Convocation Gowns may be collected from the Office of the Controller of Examinations during
04 to 06.03.2026 from 10:00AM  - 4:00PM.


IV. All candidates who are admitted to the Convocation to receive their degree in person are to attend the Rehearsal at University Campus on 5th  March, 2026(Thursday) at 11:00AM. Attendance at the Rehearsal is compulsory. Applicants who failed to attend the rehearsal ceremony will NOT be permitted to receive their degree/award at the Convocation.


V. The Convocation Gowns are to be returned to the Office of the Controller of Examinations from 07.03.2026
onwards, but not later than 11.03.2026 during office hours, failing which there will be a fine of Rs. 100/- per day.


VI. Online students need not attend the Convocation in person.

Note:

1) Applicants will received Convocation Entry Pass on the Portal after the application is verified and accepted by the University. Applicants must download and print the Pass for entry into the Convocation.

2) Only the applicants willing to receive the degree/award In-Person shall apply.
   In-Absentia need not be applied.
